Unfortunately chlorine does have its side effects. Our chlorination system includes a system to remove the chlorine from the water after it has served its purpose.

If your well tests positive for coliform, dumping some beach down your well or in your holding tank is not sufficient.

It may kill the coliform for a short period of time, but by no means a good long term solution.

If you reach the correct dosage for disinfection regularly, you wouldn't want to bathe or wash your clothes in that water.

Chlorination is a process and requires expertise and precise configuration to work properly and be easily maintainable.
